Privacy on the Internet
In our so called modern society, we tend to take privacy for granted. Well just how private are you on the internet. You simply are not! From simply browsing to a webpage, someone can find out just about anything about you. Is everything hopeless? No! But what can you do about it? It is your [...]

Its the weekend!
I am so glad it is the weekend. I have church tomorrow! I am looking forward to a whole day with nothing to do! In my opinion Saturday is the best day of the week.

We gather here at the church Friday night in Lacombe. Bernie Anderson is the special speaker. He wrote the book: "Breaking the Silence" and is available from Amazon.com
The worship songs played tonight.

Interesting news Impact changed their name. It now stand for: Impossible Made Possible At Christ's Throne
Vespers: October 14, 2010
Some of my thoughts on tonight's vesper activities.
Here is a list some of the songs I appreciated tonight:
Ain’t No Rock. Above All. In Moments Like These.
I was able to sing along with these songs they were not too high for a guy with a vocal range such as mine.
The Special “Praise you In This Lord” was very thought provoking, I have never stopped and listened to those lyrics like that before. God does truly give us everything and all our praise should be to him. Yes my heart is tore and I will praise you.
The drama by Impact was very powerful tonight. God never stops trying to draw us to him. Tho we constantly push him away, he is there to draw us back. Regardless of the mistakes we make in our lives. God does not wait, sometimes he will jump in and throw off the bad things that are troubling us. All we have to do is kneel down and ask for God and he will be there to protect us. (I think Jen will be posting a movie clip of the drama be sure to check it out!)
Here a clip that had the same message, its well worth your time to watch it.
Some questions from the sermon: Is what you hear and see at church relevant to your life? Have you forgotten the reason we go to church? Have you forgotten God? Have we left God out of the equation in our lives? Are we different at different times in our lives? Have we forgotten about God? Do we give the Holy Spirit credit he deserves for the things he does in our lives? Are we going to wait until we loose something dear before we remember there is a God?
Since everyone's perception of an event is different. Feel free to share your comments and whatnot. What a wonderful blessed start to the Sabbath.
